School

I'm a sophpomore double majoring in Computer Science and Information Science with a minor in Film & Media Studies. However, as of next semester, I'm also thinking about adding a third major—Digital Narrative and Interactive Design with a concentration in Online Media. Other than academics, I'm also a member of various extracurricular organizations and clubs including Computer Science Club, Women in Computer Science Club (WiCS), Kappa Theta Pi, and Asian Student Alliance.

Photography

Photography and videography are one of my biggest hobbies! In my free time, you'll find me taking pictures on campus or producing personal videos for my friends. I'm currently also the Assitant Visual Editor at The Pitt News, an independently-run and student-organized newspaper. My main gear includes the Canon 80D for digital and the Nikon FE for film, but I hope to upgrade my equipment and replace my DSLR with a mirrorless camera in the future.

Technology

I developed my interest in technology from when I was little, tinkering around with different gadgets and devices. The idea that I could bring my imagination to life with a couple of tools was fascinating to me, and ever since then, I've always wanted to learn more. During my time at Pitt so far, I've participated in numerous hackathons, done research as part of a fellowship under the Honors College, and volunteered as a mentor to high school girls as part of a program to increase women in STEM-related fields. I'm passionate about technology in general, but my particular interests are in software engineering, web development, and data science.
